I was born in Filadelfia. When I came here, in California, I kicked everything. I was „on the road”. I have a degree at the Berkeley University in physics. But it did not help me in my life, unfortunately. I started to read and write, especially poetry. I read guys like Ginsberg, Bukowsky... And French poetry: Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Verlaine... But I wanted to tell my own story. So, I still get going. I keep doing poetry. I look at people who had similar experiences. Sort of quest for truth. I take the chance to explore the reality from the bottom. I used to take hard drugs, so I became a „dirty man” [see John Lennon’s song]. But now I’m „clean”. I don’t have many friends. But I’m happy. I don’t wanna be part of the society.

M-am născut în Filadelfia. Cînd am venit încoace, lăsasem totul baltă. Am fost „pe drumuri” [„On the road” – vezi legendarul roman de Jack Kerouac]. Am studiat fizica la Universitatea din Berkeley. Dar nu mi-a fost de folos, din nefericire. Am început să scriu şi să citesc, mai ales poezie: Ginsberg, Bukowsky... Poeţi francezi: Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Verlaine... Dar am vrut să-mi spun şi propria mea poveste. Am încercat să mă regăsesc pe mine. Continuu să fac poezie. Mă interesează oameni care au avut experienţe ca ale mele. Au fost în căutarea adevărului, cum ar veni. Eu mi-am asumat riscul de a explora realitatea începînd cu partea de jos. A fost o vreme cînd consumam droguri tari. Devenisem un „om murdar” [„dirty man” – vezi piesa lui John Lennon]. Dar acum sînt curat. Nu prea am prieteni. Dar sînt fericit. Eu nu vreau să fiu parte a societăţii.
